CNC Machining in India to European Tolerance Standards
Indian machining shops can meet European tolerance standards when drawings are complete and unambiguous. Specify general tolerances (ISO 2768-mK or finer) and critical dimensions explicitly.
GD&T datums must be clearly defined for complex parts. Ambiguous drawings lead to setup errors and rejected batches at incoming inspection.
Surface finish, thread class, and deburr requirements should be on the drawing or a separate specification sheet. Include inspection methodology for critical features.
Pilot parts with full dimensional reports before series release. Compare Cpk on critical dimensions across batches.
